MGI "GRanDMA" Research Grants

MGI provides support for projects that enhance the genealogy of Prussian-Russian Mennonites and Hutterites. A new research-grant program offers awards up to $15,000 US.

Projects could include:

• The acquisition of primary materials or copies thereof of interest to Prussian-Russian Mennonite and Hutterite genealogists, such as church, census, civil, and immigration records.
• The extraction of genealogical data from these materials.
• The publishing of genealogical data from these materials.
• The preservation of primary archival documents related to Prussian-Russian Mennonite and Hutterite genealogy.
• Conferences/seminars related to Prussian-Russian Mennonite and Hutterite genealogy.
